Anne Burrell

Anne W. Burrell (born August 25, 1949) is an American TV chef who is a popular personality. Burrell was also an instructor at the Institute of Culinary Education. Anne Burrell. Burrell is host on Secrets of a Restaurant Chef for Food Network. Food Network, as well as the co-host of Worst Cooks in America. Anne Burrell, a Food Network host with spiky blond hair and an ebullient persona, shows how you can cook dishes that are restaurant quality at home, using easy methods. Chef Burrell has also worked at many of the best eateries in New York, studied the culinary landscape and traditions of Italy, and battled on the Food Network's Iron Chef America. As a child in the upstate of New York, Chef Burrell discovered a love for food and cooking in her early years. The Culinary Institute of America sparked her interest in the management of restaurants after she graduated with an English/Communications diploma at Canisius College Buffalo NY. The Culinary Institute of America was an unforgettable experience for me. I just couldn't get enough enjoyment from the experience. Following graduation, Chef Burrell lived in Italy for a year, attending an Italian Culinary Institute for Foreigners. Also, she was employed at La Taverna del Lupo and La Bottega del 30 (a Michelin star restaurant) located in Tuscany. Burrell gained a greater appreciation of Italian culture and cuisine throughout her time in Italy, which has influenced the way she cooks. Burrell participates on the Garden of Dreams Foundation Advisory Board which brightens the lives of kids who struggle. Additionally, she is an Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation Celebrity Advocate, where she raises awareness about the condition of children with diabetes. She is a frequent guest speaker at conferences and travels throughout the United States to mentor others in her task. Anne, throughout her entire experience in the kitchen, has declared that it's a pleasure to be in a position to share her passion for life with others.
