Kellie Martin, an American TV and film actress best known for her roles in the roles of Christy Huddleston in the period drama'Christy', Rebecca Thatcher in the family drama 'Life Goes On The Life Goes On', and Lucy Knight in the medical drama 'ER'. Her other notable roles include appearing in the titular role in the 'Hailey Dean Mystery' series. Martin, the daughter of a department-store buyer and kindergarten teacher, began her professional career in acting when she was seven when her aunt who served as an nanny for Michael Landon's kids was able to help Martin get a part in the 1982 series "Father Murphy". After her Yale University graduation, she focused on acting. She was able to get major roles on both cinema and television. Martin as well as acting, she is also a talented photographer and dancer. As a mother to two kids, she has been named the national spokesperson for Lupus. She has also been spreading the word about Lupus since the time her younger sister died in the age of 19.
